You have provided an en...This is an excellent post. You have provided an enormous amount of valuable information. Depression is truly an 'illness', a 'sickness'.<BR/><BR/>I have my times of sadness. Mostly due to life events from the past few years. I have undergone two rounds of treatment for thyroid cancer, and suffer from congestive heart failure, severe 'brittle' hypertension and hyperglycemia. I lost my husband of 37 years in July of 2007 to liver failure. My father passed away on Christmas morning of 2004 from lung cancer...and the list goes on. But everyone suffers from these experiences...I am not alone. Dealing with losses and chronic illness can be difficult, and often just life in general can bring us down. We don't need a specific reason to fall into depression.<BR/><BR/>Thank you for telling me about your post on depression. You have written it well, and many could benefit by reading it.
